THE jury in a triple murder trial have been discharged.
Brothers Miran Thakrar, 24, and Kevan, 21, were accused of shooting Keith Cowell, 42, his son Matthew Cowell, 17, and 33-year-old Tony Dulieu, who is from Billericay.
The three men were killed at the Cowells' home in Plaw Hatch Close, in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, on August 28 last year.
Christine Jennings, who was shot several times, Claire Evans, who was stabbed, and her four-year-old daughter Courtney, all survived.
Miran Thakrar, of no fixed address, and Kevan, of Lomond Way, Stevenage, denied murder and attempted murder.
The trial at St Albans Crown Court, which began on Monday, was called to a halt yesterday after the jury were discharged for legal reasons.
