Sunday Funday for the Gulls

CANVEY Island FC will hold their annual "Sunday Funday" this weekend at their Park Lane ground from 10am onwards.

The day will see Flog It and Bargain Hunt antique expert Mark Stacey attending. He will be professionally valuing items for only £2 per item between 10am and 2pm.

Castle Point councillors will also be at the show, allowing residents to speak privately with them about any issues they may have with life in the district.

A table top sale will be taking place, with tables costing only £5 to set-up. Anybody interested in having a table or setting up any other stand or event should contact Dennis Rugg on 07913101624.

Canvey's recently renovated bar will be open from 11am and the day will also see the launch of the official play-off final DVD, on sale for the first time for only £6.99.
